Transformations
My own transformation
This was my second photoshoot, I was determined to bring something different to the one I did last year.
Last time I showcased size, This time was all about conditioning and seeing how lean I could get whilst hanging onto as much muscle as possible.
So how did I go about doing this? Time to get into the specifics:
- I started this project on January 13th and finished on July 19th - so just over 6 months
- My starting weight was 81.5Kg and I ended on 68.5Kg - 13Kg lost
- I managed to do a body scan which measured my body fat % which came in at 8%.
So how did I go about this journey? I stuck to the same principles I always do:
- Lifted heavy ass weight at all times with very similar exercises and rep ranges (if you’ve built great muscle from your current program then why change it when you’re cutting weight?)
- Kept my average daily steps to 12k+
- Went on a calorie deficit of around 500 per day (e.g. maintenance was at 2500 at first so I went to 2000 then lowered it by 100 every month, by the final month I was at 1400 calories)
Just goes to show, if I can do it, anyone can
First client photoshoot
No real plan and resting on his laurels
As muscle development goes, Arjun is ahead of most. Lifting for 15 years, he’d built a solid foundation—but hadn’t quite reached his final form.
Becoming a new dad, promotions at work, and losing spare time meant his training & nutrition took a back seat. He still trained, but without structure—just going through the motions. An easy trap to fall in.
Despite lifting heavy week in, week out, lack of direction held him back.
Six months ago, that changed.
I approached Arjun with a plan to get him photoshoot ready and finally reveal what he’d built over the last decade and a half.
With new perspective from fatherhood, Arjun jumped on the FitbyVivek online coaching program. Weekly check-ins, countless calls and messages followed. I took full control of his nutrition, training, and activity.
No crash diets. No endless cardio. Just sustainable systems: lifting heavy, eating in a calorie deficit, and staying active with 10k+ steps daily. Small, smart changes that had a huge impact.
Our starting weight was 81Kg and we got down to 70Kg
The result? 11kg down.
